南アフリカでのGIGで体感したエッセンスを取り入れた本作は、HOUSEとしては比較的遅めな120BPMで統一されている。LOOPし続けるキーボードやピアノのメロディーをパーカッションによって色付けしていく”Sundance“、キックと男性コーラスが暗いフロアを連想させる”Afro Bounce“、それとは逆に比較的軽めな音をふんだんに取り入れ、パーティーのオープニングに映える”Get Ready“の3曲を収録。
シグネチャーシリーズに相応しい、M2SOULらしさが堪能出来る1枚。
The latest release from M2SOUL Music, which continues its streak of weekly releases, is the fifth installment of their signature series, “Cosmic Deep Afro Vibes EP 5”
This work incorporates essences experienced during their gigs in South Africa and is consistently set at 120 BPM, which is relatively slower for House music. It features three tracks: “Sundance” where looping keyboard and piano melodies are colored by percussion; “Afro Bounce” whose kick drum and male chorus evoke a dark dance floor; and “Get Ready” which, conversely, incorporates lighter sounds and is perfect for a party opening.
It is an essential release that perfectly showcases the M2SOUL sound, worthy of being called their signature series.
