音楽、ダンス、アートを通じて生じるコミュニティとして存在するパーティーカルチャー。恐らく今のパーティーカルチャーの原型は、1920年代の禁酒法時代にアメリカで生まれたspeakeasyから端を発しているのではないかと思う。その当時から性別や人種を超越した差別の無いコミュニティとして存在し、あらゆる人達が音楽とお酒を通して語らいあったという。
テクノロジーの進歩によりあらゆるコンテンツへのアクセスが容易となった現代においても、新たな刺激や自己の開放を求めて、パーティーに通う人々が居る。そこに行けば素晴らしい時間を過ごせると信じて。
NURANGEは、そんなパーティーカルチャーを愛する人達に向けて、より価値あるものを提供出来るよう、Masaki Moriiの声掛けにより誕生したCollectiveです。
オーガナイザー、プロデューサー、DJ、ダンサー、VJ、ライティングオペレーター、サウンドエンジニア、ペインター、デコレーター、フォトグラファー、フリーク、Venueなど、何かしらの形でパーティーに携わる人や事業体の集合体。NUとはNEWの略語であり新しいという意味。RANGEは領域。停滞せず常に新しい領域を目指して活動をすることを是とするCollective、それがNURANGEです。

What is a culture that truly captivates people?
Party culture exists as a community that emerges through music, dance, and art. I believe the prototype of today’s party culture originated from the speakeasies born in the United States during the Prohibition era of the 1920s. From that time, they existed as communities without discrimination, transcending gender and race, where all kinds of people conversed through music and drinks.
Even in today’s world, where technological advancements have made access to all kinds of content easy, there are still people who go to parties in search of new stimulation and self-liberation, believing that they will have a wonderful time there.
NURANGE is a collective brought into existence by Masaki Morii to provide authentic and valuable experiences for people who love such party culture.
It is an amalgamation of people and entities involved in parties in some form, such as organizers, producers, DJs, dancers, VJs, lighting operators, sound engineers, painters, decorators, photographers, freaks, and venues. “NU” is an abbreviation for “NEW,” meaning new. “RANGE” means domain or field. NURANGE is a collective that believes in constantly moving forward and aiming for new domains without stagnation.
