Timmy Regisford is a pioneering force in New York’s deep and soulful house scene. He began producing in the mid-1980s, creating numerous garage classics with Boyd Jarvis and gaining wide recognition through WBLS’s “Mastermix Show.” He also served as an A&R for major labels such as MCA and Motown, helping shape the careers of many leading artists. As the co-founder and guiding figure of Shelter, he helped establish one of New York’s most enduring and influential underground parties—an institution defined by a deep musical identity and the powerful connection between DJ and crowd that has sustained it for over three decades.

Timmy Regisfordは、NYディープ・ハウス・シーンを象徴する存在である。1980年代中頃より音楽制作を開始し、ボイド・ジャーヴィスと共に数々のガラージ・クラシックスを生み出し、NYのラジオ局WBLS「MASTERMIX SHOW」でその人気を確立した。また、MCAやMOTOWNといったメジャー・レーベルのA&Rとして多くの大物アーティストを成功へ導く重要な役割も果たしている。そして彼は、NYクラブ史において特別な存在であり続けてきた**Shelter**の共同創設者であり中心人物でもある。1991年のオープン以来、SHELTERはDJとクラウドの特別な絆が生み出す独特のヴァイブをもつ希有なパーティーとして、シーンがハードな音楽性へと傾倒してもなお、一貫してソウルフルでディープな音楽を追求し続け、30年以上にわたりNYディープ・ハウスをリードしてきたのである。
